What is the Crisis Center?
The Crisis Center is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, originally established in 1981 as the Odessa Rape Crisis Center to serve victims of sexual assault. Over the last 28 years, the Center has expanded its mission and services to assist virtually anyone impacted by a violent crime in the southwestern counties of the Permian Basin. The Crisis Center is governed by a Board of Directors, and employs more than 15 staff members.
